This is an advanced course in gas metal arc welding (GMAW) that includes instruction in process selection, trouble shooting. and the correct selection and application of consumables. Students will practice GMAW of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, on structural joints in all positions. Semester Hours: 4 Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 8 Pre-requisite: WLDG 1430.
