Description:
This course provides a review of basic mathematics including whole numbers, fractions, mixed numbers, decimals, percents, ratios, and proportions. Converting to different units of measure (standard and/or metric) and other topics as required by specific businesses and industries will be covered. This course will also include: Fundamentals and practical applications of Algebra, Plane Geometry, Geometric Figures, areas and volumes and Trigonometry. Semester Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Note: This course will not satisfy Associate Degree Math Requirements. However, this course will satisfy level one developmental Algebra remedial course requirements and some curriculum requirements for technical majors.
