This course is an advanced study of lathe operations. Topics include identification and/or use of special cutting tools and support tooling, such as form tools, carbide inserts, taper attachments, follower and steady rest. Semester Hours: 2 Lecture Hours: 4 Lab Hours: 0 Pre-requisite: MCHN 1408 or instructor approval. Note: Close tolerance machining will be required.
