This course is an advanced study of milling machine operations. Topics include the identification and/or use of milling cutters and support tooling, including end mills, slab mills, face mills, involute cutters, rotary tables and indexing heads. Semester Hours: 4 Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 4 Pre-requisite: MCHN 1413 or instructor approval. Note: A review of related math and machine theory is included.
