The student will identify basic firearm safety, cleaning and care techniques, proper shooting principles and firearm proficiency. The student will be furnished tar gets, ammunition, safety devices, as well as a firearm. Both full and part-time students must have the college’s Student Accident Insurance. Semester Hours: 2 Lecture Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 2 Note: This class is a for CLE 2237, Advanced Firearms, and CJLE 2522, Texas Peace Officer Skills; however, this class may be taken concurrently with CJLE 2522.
