This course is an entry-level course in digital electronics covering number systems, binary mathematics, digital codes, logic gates, Boolean algebra, Karnaugh maps and combinational logic. Emphasis will be on circuit logic analysis and troubleshooting digital circuits. Additional topics include flip-flops, counters, registers, programmable logic devices and memories. Semester Hours: 4 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 4 Pre-requisite: Completion or concurrent enrollment in CETT 1403, or consent of instructor.
