This is a study of industry and standard welding and cutting procedures. Emphasis is given to MIG welding skill development in safety practices, equipment selection and set up, the design, preparation, and fitting of weld joints and the application and inspection of welding procedures and equipment settings needed to obtain necessary weld strength when replacing structural components on unitized vehicles. Semester Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Pre-requisite: ABDR 1331, ABDR 1315, ABDR 1419, ABDR 2357.
