Prerequisite: Graduate of Welding program with a B or higher Provides opportunity to apply skills to pipe welding operations. Topics include: pipe welding safety and health practices, pipe welding nomenclature, pipe layout and preparation, pipe joint assembly, horizontal welds on pipe (2G), vertical welds on pipe (5G), and welds on 45 degree pipe (6G) using both SMAW and GTAW process on all positions.
