Prerequisite: COS 100 Introduces fundamental theory and skills required to shampoo and create shapings, pin-curls, fingerwaves, roller placement, and comb-outs. Training includes styling to total 20 hours on manikins and 25 hours on live models without compensation. Topics include: braiding/intertwining hair, shampoo chemistry, shampoo procedures, styling principles, pin-curls, roller placement, fingerwaves, comb-out techniques, skip-waves, ridge-curls, and safety precautions.
