Using a body system approach, this course continues to provide the student with the opportunity to promote physical health and wellness throughout the lifespan by providing nursing care and comfort, reducing risk potential, and managing health problems. Topics include nursing management of the patient with a disorder of the musculoskeletal, dermatologic, immunologic, metabolic/endocrine, hematologic, reproductive, visual/auditory systems and cancer. Sixth in 9-part course sequence. Prerequisites: NURS 244.
