Continued study of the theories and mechanics of recording audio signals to a digital medium. Introduction to MIDI, MMC, SMPTE, synthesis and digital sampling. Use of these concepts in a multi-track environment prior to final mix-down. Creation of final pre-mastered stereo image. Lab is included. Prerequisite: MUSC 261.
