Development of skills and techniques required for a comprehensive health assessment of clients across the lifespan: pediatric, adults, and geriatric. Includes assessment of clients' health promotion and maintenance, illness and injury prevention and restoration and application of the nursing process within a legal/ethical framework. This course lends itself to either a blocked or integrated approach. Prerequisites: Completion of practical/vocational nursing program or administrative approval, BIOL 2401 and BIOL 2402. TEC.
