(3-3-0) A course in the basic principles of speech applied to the needs of the business professional. This course includes the types and techniques of speeches most common to business and professional people, including theory and practice in business speech situations, personnel conferences, job interviews, oral reports, sales talks, and occasional speeches. Prerequisites: Successful completion of THEA reading or eligibility to enroll in READ 0308 and eligibility to enroll in ENGL 0306.
