(3-3-2) The purpose of this course is to increase the student's listening comprehension skills in English. Students listen and evaluate English conversation and discourse as it occurs naturally. Students increase their understanding of grammar and structures and develop vocabulary skills as they listen extensively to spoken English and participate in classroom activities. Prerequisite: Appropriate placement test score. Laboratory fee $20. F, Sp, Su (3201085512).
