(4-3-2) Assessment and management of patients with cardiac emergencies. Includes basic dysrhythmia interpretation, recognition of 12-lead EKGs for field diagnosis, and electrical and pharmacological interventions. Prerequisite: EMT-Basic certificate, EMSP 1438, EMSP 2338, EMT-Intermediate certificate with coordinator approval. Co-requisite: EMSP 2330, EMSP 2248, EMSP 2135, EMSP 2167. Laboratory fee $25.
