(3-3-1) A lecture-laboratory course giving the student a knowledge of the technical aspects of mounting a production on the stage. Includes the study and application of visual aesthetics of design and execution of stage settings, including a study of the physical theatre, scenery construction and painting, properties, lighting, and backstage organization.
