(4-3-3) Introduction to basic ecological principles, biotic interrelationships in aquatic and terrestrial communities, and environmental issues that have national and global effects. Designed to fulfill four credit hours of a non-science major's laboratory science requirement. It will not satisfy the requirement for science or pre-professional majors. Prerequisites: The students must have passed all sections of the THEA test and/or completed all reading, writing, and math requirements or be taking Math 0306 concurrently. Laboratory fee $35.
