(4-3-4) A study of the morphology, physiology, genetics, taxonomy and control of microorganisms. This course includes a study of the roles of microorganisms in science and disease and requires the identification of unknowns in mixed microbial cultures. Prerequisites: "C" or better in BIOL 2401. The students must have passed all sections of the THEA test and/or completed all reading, writing, and math. Laboratory fee $35. F, Sp, Su (2605035103).
