Students from the University's general population will receive basic cognitive, affective and psychomotor skill instruction necessary for a lifetime of physical activity related to health and wellness. The major components of health related physical fitness, including personal assessment, prescription and practice of physical activities designed for fitness, are emphasized. Laboratory experiences in the Dean Healthplex are included. This course is required for all University graduates as part of the general education physical activity requirement.
