Prerequisite: MAT 1111. The course is an introduction to some of the basic laws of physics. Topics include: systems of units and conversion of units; vector algebra; Newtonian mechanics; fluids and thermodynamics; heat; light, and optics; mechanical waves; electricity and magnetism; and modern physics.
