Prerequisite: MISM 4135 or MISM 4145 and senior standing. This is a senior capstone course that emphasizes the application of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK) standards and framework to manage information technology projects. Students apply project management principles to the IT industry through case studies, and complete an IT research project resulting in a senior thesis and presentation. This course prepares students to sit for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification exam offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). .
