Prerequisite: Approval of Department Chair. First-hand experience in data recovery methods in archaeology either in the greater Columbus and western Georgia, or in Latin America. Students will learn methods of archaeological site survey, site recording and surface mapping, excavation and field laboratory documentation. (Course fee required.)
