HU (Cross-listed in Comparative Literature and Latin American and Iberian Studies) R.Castillo Sandoval Representative writings from the textual legacy left by Spanish discovery, conquest, and colonization of the New World. Emphasis will be places on the transfiguration of historical and literary genres, and the role of Colonial literature in the formation of Latin-American identity.
