Goal To provide students with an opportunity to apply communication skills in the work place; to perform professional, creative, or research functions under professional supervision. The communication major must, as a requirement for graduation, take a three-hour internship in one semester. Content A placement agreed upon by the student, her advisor, and the Director of Career Development. Taught Fall, Spring. Prerequisites Consent of both the advisor and the department chair.
