Goal Introduction to the concept of swimming, running, and cycling as a form of intensive cross-training for physical fitness. Content Goal-setting, discipline, nutrition, elementary physiology, equipment upkeep and regular running, swimming, and cycling. Taught Spring. Prerequisite Beginning swimming/ background in running/swimming/cycling. Appropriate apparel and equipment required (i.e. swim goggles, cap, swimsuit, running gear). Credit 1 hour; Students may repeat this course three times for a maximum of four semester hours.
