Prerequisites: EDUC 220, 256, 357, 360, 469, and full admission status. The application of transcendent learning theories will be combined with effective teaching strategies that encourage success in social studies for all. The interdisciplinary nature of social studies will be the focus for the study of curriculum, methods, technology, and professional sources. An emphasis will be on the planning for and development of resources (including the development of a unit).
