Prerequisite: MUS 241 This course continues the development of keyboard skills from MUS 241. To be taken concurrently with MUS 256a by students whose applied area is piano. Focus will be on the study of technical and artistic skills required of a collaborative pianist. Practical participation and performance of vocal literature and instrumental literature will be required with particular emphasis given to German lieder and French mélodie.
