Prerequisite: IST 352 or CSC 360. This course is a study of the many issues relating to network security. Course will include a laboratory component for practical experience in properly securing and monitoring a network. Topics to be covered include foot printing, scanning, enumeration, operating system vulnerabilities, securing remote access, network device security features, firewall implementation, remote control security concerns, and security management. (Every two years)
