This course serves as a survey of the concepts, design and implementation of various net- work protocols including TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, NetBEUI and AppleTalk. Course will include a laboratory component for practical experience protocol design and implementation. Topics to be covered include industry models, features, environmental concerns, and efficiency.
