Fall Different theories of reading instruction will be the focus for this course. Special emphasis will be on children's literature and its role in successful reading programs. Other topics include: reading process, principles of reading instruction, and emergent literacy. IRA standards and Georgia QCC objectives will provide a basis for lesson plans and field experiences in local schools.
