A study of the political attitudes and behavior of citizens in the United States. This course will explore how citizens form their political attitudes and beliefs, the ways Americans participate politically, and the forces that influence voter turnout and vote choice. Although this class will focus on American citizens, comparisons and contrasts will be made with citizens of other nations, and of the attitudes and behaviors of government leaders and other poltiical elites.
