A study of the curriculum for children in grades P-5. Topics include strategies for planning, implementing, and evaluating learning for diverse populations of children, and for creating and supporting a constructivist learning environment. Current research related to "best" practices will be included. The course requires 45 hours of field experience in which the student completes assignments relevant to the course in a P-5 grade setting. (2-3-3) Prerequisites: ( Teacher Education 1 or Teacher Education 2 )
