Sociological research and value perspectives are used to understand such issues as mate selection, cohabitation, careers and marriage, power, communication and conflict, diverse marriage styles, divorce and remarriage. Major emphasis on the nature and dynamics of sexuality and gender in intimate relationships. Faith perspectives on marriage, sex and gender are explored. Spring semester.
