Introduction to automotive ignition system theory, diagnosis and repair, emission systems theory, diagnosis and repair and on-board computer system theory, diagnosis, and repairStudents will learn to use automotive scan tools, automotive oscilloscopes, engine analyzers and other specialized engine performance toolsThis course is structured to provide competency-based application of NATEF automotive repair tasks in a working shop environment and will provide students with the background and knowledge to take the ASE certification examinations. Prerequisite: AMM 151; Co-requisites: AMM 171 and 181.
