Introduction to electricity and electronics used in the automotive industry.Students will study voltage, resistance, amperage, ohms law, circuits, wiring diagrams and use of electrical and electronics test equipmentThis course will cover major and accessory electrical devices used on today's vehiclesEmphasis will be placed on theory, diagnosis, service and repair of all electrical components.This course is structured to provide competency-based application of NATEF automotive repair tasks in a working shop environment and will provide students with the background and knowledge to take the ASE certification examinations.
