HIV/Aids Education provides the health care professional with mandatory instruction involving information/knowledge associated with HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, tuberculosis, and related diseasesThe seven-hour course presents the six state-required topics of etiology and epidemiology, transmission and infection control, testing and counseling, clinical manifestations and treatment, legal and ethical issues, and psychosocial issuesStudents completing this class will receive a certificate documenting the mandatory training.Student cannot earn credit for both ALCDA 230 and HO 110.
