Prerequisite: Web Animation (3 credits) Techniques, Photo 1 Students who began program prior to Sept. 2008 Students who begin program in Sept. 2008 and beyond This is a video production course, exploring various professional techniques used in the manipulation of digital video and the creation of narrative form. This class provides technical instruction in the digital world of non-linear editing, compositing, and digital effects. It includes hands on experience in acquiring video footage, loading it into the computer and then editing and compositing it with other media including vector images, bitmaps, and still photography. The elements of storytelling, film grammar, and storyboarding will continue to be explored.
