Philosophy challenges students to investigate the assumptions philosophers have made about reality, knowledge, truth, God, morality, social construction, freedom, and paternalism. Wherever possible, primary sources will be explored. Students grapple with at least 20 philosophers' writings and a half dozen theories which have shaped contemporary life.
