Class participants will build basic math as a preparation for GED testing, more advanced math classes or family and work related goals. Emphasis is placed on place value, estimating and averaging, and whole number operations in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Application of operations in real-life word problems will be used to demonstrate competence. Prerequisite: CASAS and/or TABE testing.
