The Office Receptionist class is in a lecture and discussion format. Demonstration of equipment and office products is used when appropriate. Topics include human relations, receiving visitors, making appointments, customer service, telephone procedures, processing mail, and reprographics. Upon completion of this course students will be able to prioritize office jobs, interact effectively with coworkers and customers, answer the phone properly, greet customers, process incoming and outgoing mail, and operate a copy machine.
