Designed to acquaint the students with the process and procedures used in the semiconductor industry. In-depth study of the microchip manufacturing process from crystal growing to finished product. Special attention will be given to the operation of high vacuum and RF plasma systems. Operation of clean rooms and suiting up in a "bunny suit" will be studied.
