Topics include: cell surface receptor structure and function; heterotrimeric G proteins and oncogenesis. Provides present-day thinking on dysregulation of signaling pathways and how this leads to the development of various types of cancers. Enrollment limited to 15 students. Prerequisite: Biology 200 and 300b or consent of instructor.
