HU A.Fenton Introduction to the study of Latin literature through readings from Catullus' poetry and Cicero's Pro Caelio. Class will include some grammar review, but emphasis will be on developing reading skills and on critical interpretation and discussion. Prerequisite: Students should have had either a year of college Latin or very strong high school preparation. For a course with more extensive grammar review, see Bryn Mawr Latin 003.
