NA R.Scarrow Three lectures for one-half semester (one-half course credit). This course will examine chemical processes that occur in natural waters, soils and the atmosphere. Specific topics will be chosen with input from enrolled students, who will be expected to share in discussion leadership. Prerequisite: CHEM 221b (Organic Chemistry II), CHEM 304a (Physical Chemistry I), and concurrent or prior enrollment in CHEM 320g (Concepts of Inorganic Chemistry) Offered occasionally.
