This course examines the ways in which the computer in the Jewish school can enhance Jewish learning. The Computerized Cognitive Maps are presented as a component of constructivist learning to stimulate self learning and intellectual curiosity required in the contemporary postmodern situation. It then proposes concrete applications of computer-mediated Jewish learning to achieve these goals. Among the topics discussed are: communications technology, teaching via computers, concept mapping, charts, flowcharts and other visual aids. Division: College Division Department: Jewish Education
