Topics include: Mechanical Principles of Simple Machines; Force, Torque, Velocity, Acceleration, and Inertia; Rotational Motion; Work, Power, and Energy; Matter; Gases; Fluid Power; and Heat. The course emphasizes understanding terminology and using related problem solving skills in everyday physical applications of mechanical technology.
