(3 credit/8 contact hours) Composites II is a continuation of Composites I with an emphasis on hands-on skills involved in carbon fiber component construction. Students will practice wet and dry lamination, vacuum bagging, uses of the autoclave, trimming and mold making. As the course proceeds, students will construct actual race car components using their learned skills. Projects will increase in complexity as the course progresses. Prerequisites: None.
