(6 credit/16 contact hours) This course teaches the students the proper vehicle checks prior to a track test session. Students will be trained in proper systems checks, transporter preparation, trackside tool organization, and transporter loading techniques. This course also addresses proper vehicle set-up and geometry. Vehicle corner weight scaling, all adjustment parameters, and trackside adjustments, and components changes. Driver safety equipment, vehicle safety equipment, and pit road and track safety concerns are also addressed in depth. Prerequisites: None. Corequisites: None. Spring 2009 Course Availability
