(7 credit/10 contact hours) Provides an overview of applied electricity for technical and industrial applications: topics include electrical units and principles, applied DC circuits, applied AC circuits, common transformers, single phase circuits, three phase circuits, introduction to troubleshooting and common industrial motors/motor controls. The course emphasizes basic electrical terminology and associated problem solving in electrical technology.
