(13 credit/39 contact hours) Introduces and reinforces the application of electric utility procedures in an actual job setting under direct supervision of electric utility personnel. Students are acquainted with occupational responsibilities through realistic work situations on the job to include topics on problem solving, adaptability to job setting, use of appropriate interpersonal skills, interpretation of work authorizations, participation in or observation of electrical utility procedures, work place development, work place ethics, code of conduct, and utility safety procedures.
